Ingredients:
- Minced meat: about 500 grams
- Onion: 1 large
- Garlic: 2-3 cloves
- Canned tomatoes: 2 cans (approximately 400 grams each)
- Tomato sauce: 1-2 tablespoons
- Spices: salt, pepper, oregano, basil, nutmeg
- Lasagne noodles: approximately 12-15 sheets
- Butter: about 50 grams
- Flour: about 3 tablespoons
- Milk: about 500 ml
- Mozzarella cheese: about 200 grams
- Parmesan: for sprinkling
Steps:
- Prepare the meat: Heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat. Add chopped onion and garlic, fry until translucent. Add canned tomatoes, tomato sauce and spices. Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Prepare the béchamel sauce: Melt the butter in a pot. Add flour and mix until a smooth mass is formed. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the lasagna: Spread 1/3 of the meat sauce in an ovenproof dish. Place 4-5 sheets of lasagna noodles on top. Spread 1/3 of the béchamel sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with 1/3 of the grated mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers 2 more times.
- Bake the lasagna: Put the lasagna in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for about 30-40 minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden.
- Before serving: Sprinkle the lasagna with grated Parmesan.
